About Toronto Employment Lawyer - Olivia Kabongo
An employment lawyer with unique African and North American upbringing, Olivia Kabongo thrives in diversity. Raised in the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Africa, Olivia quickly learned to appreciate the need for greater protections surrounding fundamental human and civil rights, as well as, for marginalized groups such as minorities and workers. From her own experiences, Olivia learned the power of adaptability and hard work in overcoming the toughest challenges in life. With this perspective, Olivia advises both employees and employers on all aspect of employment and human rights law with a particular interest in delivering greater access to justice on employment law issues to clients of all origins.
Olivia obtained her law degree from the University of Ottawa where she was involved in many student and community-based organizations, including a non-profit organization which strives for equality for persons with disabilities. Prior to Law School, Olivia obtained a degree in International Relations. She joined Whitten & Lublin in 2011 in order to focus on employment and human rights law.
Olivia provides legal services to clients in both French and English.
